Heavenly is a fun, friendly, family experience.  Just a few miles down the street from Hotel Azure, grab a lift up the mountain or take a ride up the Gondola.  Experience 97 runs with 30 lifts and the best part, you can ski and ride in California and Nevada in the same day.

Voted for THE Best Vibe and one of the Best Expert Terrain, Best Moguls and
the Best Spring Skiing/Riding:  Kirkwood Mountain Resort:
Top Elevation 9,800 ft. with a vertical of 2,000 ft. and longest run 2.5 miles.

The WALL, everyone talks about it, but have you ever tried to ride it?  I dare you, only if you’re expert though.  With over 65 runs, 50% being intermediate and 35% advanced, this park is no joke.  If you want to experience the ride of your life, then head to Kirkwood, you won’t be disappointed, unless you are looking for bunny slopes.

Voted for one of the Best Terrain Park’s, the Best Tree Skiing/Riding,
and one of the Best Vibe’s:  Sierra-At-Tahoe:
Top Elevation 8,852 ft. with the longest run called Sugar ‘n Spice being 2.5 miles.

This is one of the best forests built ski resorts, located within the El Dorado National Forest, just 12 miles past South Lake Tahoe.  With 46 runs, 11 lifts, and 6 Terrain Parks, this ski resort will keep you riding until your boots fall off.

Now that you know the best ski resorts near South Lake Tahoe, it’s time to book your winter vacation.
