St. Patrick's Day in Lake Tahoe
There is always something going on in South Lake Tahoe during the St Patrick’s Day weekend, from Irish pub parties to the Leprechaun beer crawl at the Heavenly village. You don’t need the “luck of the Irish” to find all the fun upcoming events. We’ve gathered some of the best places to enjoy a pint of Guinness, a plate of corned beef and cabbage, and plenty of nightlife excitement.
South Lake Brewing Company's five-hour celebration begins at 5 p.m. and features live music and the local wood-fired pizza from The Oven. Corned beef will be on the menu, and anyone to bring a leashed dog and/or wear an Irish costume will receive $1 off pints of beer. South Lake Brewing Company will start the night with an Irish-themed beer release.

Stateline Brewery hosts its first-ever St. Patrick's Day party starting at 2 p.m. Specials include $4 green beer, two-for-one car bombs, $5 Guinness drafts and deals on Irish food. They will have live music rockin’ the place until they close.

McP's Taphouse is Lake Tahoe's biggest, most infamous, and truly traditional St. Patrick's Day extravaganza. They feature 40 beers on tap, 20 televisions and live music, making it an ideal location to spend St. Patrick's Day. There will be drink specials throughout the day, in addition to multiple giveaways and appearances from the Guinness and Bud Light Girls. The restaurant also will serve up corned beef and cabbage, and Rueben wraps.

Steamers Bar & Grill is throwing their St. Funkin Patrick's Day Party, which features live music from the Sierra Gypsies that kicks off at 7 p.m. There is no cover for the event, and Steamers will serve homemade corned beef and cabbage, corned beef tacos all day. There will also be specials on green beer, Jameson, car bombs, and more.

The Loft hosts its St. Patrick's Day Celebration from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. There will be draft specials, decorations, party favors and Irish food specials to round out the evening. There is no cover to attend the event, but for $10 attendees can build their own Irish whiskey cocktails.

The Beacon will host a St. Patrick's Day-themed cocktail snowshoe races on Saturday. Drink green beer and wear your green clothing to make the most of this event, which features competitors running through an obstacle course in snowshoes while carrying a tray of cocktails.

The Leprechaun Crawl at Heavenly Village will be the center of beer fun. The $15 fee will include a cup/wristband to enjoy great drink and food specials at multiple restaurants throughout the village. Costumes are highly encouraged, and live music will be rocking the night away.
