From September through December, it's typical to get a mix of weather. For clothing, it is important to note that the days are likely going to be warm and sunny while the nights are going to be cold and make you feel like you need to bundle up in front of the fire. If you are coming during the fall with the hopes of spending some time on the trails or the beach, pack the clothes for the high temperature of the day but also bring an extra layer in case it gets chilly early. It's common for storms to move in quickly producing heavy rain, hail, and even snow so when hiking always carry emergency supplies and warm layers.
